3. “Son of man, these men have placed their uncleanness in their hearts, and they have stationed the scandal of their iniquities before their face. So why should I respond when they inquire of me?

" This verse shows that many people in Israel were practicing sinful acts and still continued to seek God in their temple.

Proverbs 1:28-29: "Then they will call me, but I will not answer; they will seek me, but they will not find me. For they bored science and did not prefer the fear of the Lord." This verse shows that those who despise the wisdom and fear of the Lord will not have their prayers heard.
