Acts of Apostles 11 reports the apostles and brothers' response in Jerusalem after hearing the news that Peter had preached to the Gentiles and that they had received the Holy Spirit. Peter then explains how he received the vision of God and was oriented not to call unclean what God had purified. From this he and the other apostles also preached to the Gentiles.
