Jeremiah, 4

10. Then I said, "Ah, Lord GOD, surely thou hast utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, `It shall be well with you'; whereas the sword has reached their very life."

Jeremiah 4 addresses the theme of God's coming judgment over the people of Judah, as well as the need for repentance and return to faithfulness to God. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Isaiah 26:20: "Go, my people, enter your rooms, and close your doors over you; hide you for a moment until the wrath passes." This verse brings a message similar to that of Jeremiah 4, alerting God's people to take refuge before the coming wrath of God.
