Chapter 16 of the book of Mark tells the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as the appearance of the risen to the disciples and his ascension to heaven. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:
Luke 24:5-6: "Then the women were frightened and lowered their face to the ground. But the men said unto them, Why do you seek the dead. As you told you, being still in Galilee. " This verse relates to the resurrection of Jesus, which is the main theme of Mark chapter 16.
John 20:19: "At the afternoon of that first day of the week, and the disciples were locked where they were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus entered, set in their midst and said, 'Peace be with you.'"
