Song of Solomon, 7

12. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, [whether] the tender grape appear, [and] the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

Proverbs 31:30: "Beauty is misleading, and beauty is fleeting; but the woman who fears to the Lord will be praised." This verse speaks of the importance of valuing inner qualities, such as fear of God, rather than being carried away by physical appearance.

1 Samuel 16:7: "But the Lord said to Samuel, He does not consider his appearance, nor his great size, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as man sees. Man sees the exterior, but the Lord sees the Lord, but the Lord , the heart." In this verse, God shows that he does not care about the physical appearance of people, but their hearts.

Proverbs 6:25: "Do not coveze in your heart your beauty, nor let yourself be arrested for your eyes." This verse warns against the temptation to get carried away by external beauty, which can lead to sinful attitudes.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Or do you not know that our body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit, which dwells in you, from God, and that you are not from you? to God in your body. 1 Peter 3:3-4: "Your adornment is not the outer ornament, such as the braids of the hair, the use of gold jewelry, or the luxury of the dresses, but the inner man of the heart, joined with the incorruptible dress of a Smooth and quiet spirit, which is precious before God. " This verse also highlights the importance of valuing inner qualities, such as meekness and tranquility, rather than focusing only on external appearance.
