Galatians 4:5-7: "To rescue those under the law, that we may receive the adoption of children. And because you are children, God sent the Spirit of your Son to our heart, which cries out:" ABA, Father! "So you are no longer a slave, but Son; and, being a son, God has also made him heir." Romans 8 talks about adoption as children of God and the liberation of slavery of sin, and these themes are also addressed in Galatians 4.
Ephesians 1:13-14: "In Him, when you heard and believed in the word of truth, the gospel that saved you, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise, which is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of those who belong to God, to the praise of His glory. " Paul highlights the security of salvation in Romans 8 and Ephesians 1, noting that believers are sealed by the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of eternal inheritance.
John 1:12-13: "But to all who received him, to those who believe in his name, gave them the right to become children of God, who were not born by natural descent, nor by the will of the flesh or by will of some man, but were born of God. " Adoption as children of God is a central theme in Romans 8, and John 1 also points out that those who believe in Jesus Christ receive the right to become children of God.
Hebrews 9:14: "The more the blood of Christ, which by the eternal Spirit has offered himself immaculate to God, will purify our conscience of deeds that lead to death, that we may serve to the living God!" Romans 8 highlights the liberation of the power of sin and death, and Hebrews 9 emphasizes that it is the blood of Christ that purifies our consciences of acts that lead to death.
