13. And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, [and] fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:

Numbers chapter 29 presents the instructions for the celebrations of religious festivals during the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. These celebrations include the day of atonement and the feast of the tabernacles. Below are five verses related to these themes:

Leviticus 23:27 - "But on the tenth day of this seventh month will be the day of atonement. You will have holy call, you will afflict your souls and offer burnt offering to the Lord." This verse refers to the celebration of the day of atonement mentioned in numbers 29, where a ritual of atonement is prescribed by the sins of the people.

Leviticus 23:34 - "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, The fifteen days of this seventh month will be the feast of the Lord for seven days." This verse refers to the celebration of the Tabernacular Feast, one of the religious festivals mentioned in numbers 29.

This verse describes a celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles after exile in Babylon, showing the continuity of tradition even after the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem.
