Numbers, 18

19. All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it [is] a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

Chapter 18 of numbers is dedicated to Levi's tribe and his role as tabernacle priests. The following verses are related to the topics dealt with in chapter:

Exodus 29:9: "And you thou bear the belt of pure gold, and you will give the diadem of holiness in your head." This verse describes the preparation of priests for the tabernacle service, including the garment and the diadem they should wear. This passage is related to numbers 18, which deals with the designation of the Levites as priests.

Exodus 30:7-8: "And Aaron will burn smelling incense over him; every morning, when the lamp is tidyed, it will burn it.
