Leviticus, 8

Leviticus 8 describes the ordering of the priests for the children of Aaron and the process of consecration of the tabernacle. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in Leviticus 8:

Exodus 29:1-3: "This is what you should do to consecrate them, that they may serve me like priests: Take a bull and two sheep without defects [...] you will wear them to Aaron, your brother, and His children with him, and will anoint them, consecrating them "this verse is relevant because it describes the process of consecration of priests, which is the central theme of Leviticus 8.

Hebrews 5:4: "No one takes this honor to himself; it must be called by God, just as Aaron was." This verse relates to the ordering of priests in Leviticus 8 and points out that it is not a position that can be assumed by anyone, but something that must be designated by God.
