Galatians 2 deals with the conflict between Paul and the Judaizers who taught that the Gentiles needed to follow the Mosaic law to be saved. Acts 15:10: "Now why do you try God, putting on the cervix of the disciples a yoke that neither our parents nor we could stand?" This verse is a declaration of Peter during the Council of Jerusalem, where he acknowledged that the Mosaic law was too heavy for the Gentiles and that they were saved by the grace of God, just like the Jews.
Colossians 2:16-17: "Therefore, no one judges you for eating, or drinking, or because of the days of feast, or the new moon, or the Saturdays, which are shadows of things that will come; but the body It is from Christ. " This verse emphasizes that the practices of the Mosaic Law, such as the days of feast and the Saturdays, were shadows of what was to come in Christ and were no longer necessary for salvation.
