Chapter 6 of Ezra begins with King Darius confirming the decree of Ciro for the reconstruction of the temple in Jerusalem and ordering to be completed. Judah's enemies try to prevent construction again, but this time Governor Tatenai consults King Darius and receives order to allow the work to continue.
