Ezekiel, 23

37. That they have committed adultery, and blood [is] in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through [the fire], to devour [them].

Ezekiel 23 is a chapter that describes the infidelity of Israel and Judah about God, using a metaphor of two sisters who prostitute themselves. 1 Corinthians 10:14: "Therefore, my beloved, I ran away from idolatry." This verse talks about the importance of preventing idolatry and remaining faithful to God. In Ezekiel's chapter 23, the metaphor of the prostitute sisters is used to describe the idolatry of God's people, showing the importance of moving away from it.
