2 Chronicles, 29

1. Hezekiah began to reign [when he was] five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

2 Chronicles 29 reports the reign of Hezekiah in Judah and how he restored the worship of God in the temple in Jerusalem. He summoned the priests and Levites to purify the temple and the sacred utensils, as well as restore the practices of worship of God. Psalm 51:10: "Creates in me, O God, a pure heart, and renews in me a straight spirit." This verse highlights the importance of inner purification for worship of God.

Psalm 116:12-13: "What will I give to the Lord for all its benefits to me? I will take the cup of salvation, and invoke the name of the Lord." This verse highlights the importance of gratitude and recognition for the benefits God gives to his servants.
