1 Corinthians, 7

36. But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of [her] age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

Chapter 7 of 1 Corinthians addresses various issues related to marriage and single life, such as the importance of sexual abstinence, the possibility of divorce and the ideal state of life to serve God. The following verses are examples of biblical passages that deal with similar themes:

Proverbs 5:18-19: "Bendite your spring, and rejoice with the woman of your youth. As a loving cervo, and graceful Gazella, your breasts sat down at all times; and for your love you are attracted to perpetually . " This verse highlights the importance of marriage and sexual satisfaction within it.

Matthew 19:9: "I say, however, that anyone who repudiates his wife, not because of prostitution, and marrying another, commits adultery; and what to marry the repudiated also commits adultery." This verse addresses the possibility of divorce, which is also discussed in 1 Corinthians 7.
