Exodus, 30

13. And this shall every one give that passeth at the naming, half a sicle according to the standard of the temple. A sicle hath twenty obols. Half a sicle shall be offered to the Lord.

Exodus 30 deals with the making of the altar of incense, the offer of atonement of the middle-shekel, the washing bronze basin and the mixture of sacred oil. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in the chapter, excluding Exodus 30 verses:

Ezekiel 8:11: "And before them was the man standing, his right hand raised to the East; and worshiped the sun, putting himself to his left side." This verse talks about the idolatrous practice of worshiping the sun, which is contrary to the law of God. 2 Chronicles 4:6: "He also did ten basins, and put five on the right and five on the left to wash them; the work of the Holocaust washed in them, but the basin was for the priests to wash."
