Luke chapter begins with Jesus teaching about the importance of avoiding sin and forgiving others, and then talks about faith and gratitude. He also talks about the nature of the kingdom of God and the return of Jesus. Below are five verses related to the themes of this chapter:
Proverbs 19:11: "The prudence of man greens him the favor of the Lord, but the man of a perverse heart will be the object of his wrath." This verse is related to the last part of the chapter, where Jesus talks about his second coming. Here, Jesus urges his followers to always be prepared for his return, for it can happen at any moment and unexpectedly.
