Jeremiah, 30

15. Why do you cry out over your affliction? Your pain is incurable. I have done these things to you because of the multitude of your iniquity and because of your hardened sins.

Jeremiah 30 presents a message of hope for the people of Israel, who had suffered a lot due to their disobedience to God. In this chapter God promises to restore his people and bring them back to the promised land. He also speaks of the coming of a new leader, who will rule with justice and wisdom. Psalm 107:28-30: "Then they cried to the Lord in his anguish, and he delivered them from his difficulties. He stopped the storm, and the waves were calmed. Then they rejoiced with the bonanza; and he guided them to desired port. " This Psalm talks about God's power to save his people from adversity and guide them to a safe place, which is similar to God's promise in Jeremiah 30 to bring his people back home.

Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you; do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand."
