Joshua, 14

4. For the people of Joseph were two tribes, Manas'seh and E'phraim; and no portion was given to the Levites in the land, but only cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for their cattle and their substance.

Joshua chapter 14 describes how the land of Canaan was divided between the tribes of Israel, and as Caleb, one of the spies sent by Moses to the promised land, asked Joshua to give him a portion of land that had been promised to him for God. Caleb is an example of faith and perseverance, for despite his advanced age, he was still willing to fight for his inheritance on Earth.
