2 Chronicles, 33

13. He prayed to him, and God received his entreaty and heard his supplication and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manas'seh knew that the LORD was God.

This verse highlights the importance of sadness and pain in the Christian life, pointing out that it can lead to repentance and salvation.
