" This verse emphasizes the choice that the people of Israel have to choose life and blessing, obeying God, rather than choosing death and curse, disobeying God.
Deuteronomy 7:9: "Thou shalt know that the Lord thy God is God, the faithful God, who keeps the concert and mercy to a thousand generations to those who love him and keep his commandments." This verse highlights God's faithfulness to maintain his covenant with those who love him and obey his commandments.
Deuteronomy 28:1: "And if you hear the voice of the Lord, your God, being careful to keep all your commandments that I command you today, the Lord, your God, will exalt you over all the nations of the earth." Jeremiah 31:33: "But this is the concert that I will do with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I shall put my law inside, and write it into His heart; and I will be your God and they will be my people.
