Jeremiah, 2

28. But where [are] thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for [according to] the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.

Jeremiah 2 begins with the prophet rebuking the people of Israel to abandon God and follow after other gods. Exodus 20:3: "You will not have other gods before me." This is the first commandment given to Moses by God, which emphasizes the importance of loving and worshiping only to God, not to other gods or idols.

Hosea 2:13: "She did not acknowledge that I was the one who gave her the wheat, the new wine and the oil, and multiply the silver and the gold, which they used for Baal." This verse describes how Israel forgot that God was the source of all his material blessings, giving his prosperity to Baal, a false God.
