Psalms, 16

14. from the enemies of thy hand. O Lord, divide them from the few of the earth in their life: their belly is filled from thy hidden stores. They are full of children: and they have left to their little ones the rest of their substance.

Psalm 16 is a psalm of trust and protection in God, in which the psalmist expresses his devotion and dependence on the Lord. He declares that only in God finds security and joy. Below are five verses that deal with themes related to this psalm:

Psalm 34:8: "Prove and see that the Lord is good; blessed man who trusts him." This verse talks about experiencing the goodness of the Lord and trusting in him, just as the psalmist does in Psalm 16.

Psalm 73:26: "My flesh and my heart fade, but God is the fortress of my heart and my portion forever." This verse talks about trust in God in the midst of difficulties and discouragement, similar to the confidence expressed in Psalm 16.
