Nehemiah, 8

6. Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people, their hands raised high, answered, "Amen, amen!" Then they bowed down and prostrated themselves before the LORD, their faces to the ground.

Nehemiah chapter 8 describes an important moment in the history of the people of Israel, when Ezra reads God's law to the people and helps them understand what it means. Deuteronomy 31:12-13: "Gathers the people, men, women and children, and the foreigners residing in your city, that they may hear and learn to fear the Lord, your God, and take care to do all the words of this law. Joshua 8:34-35: "Then he read Joshua all the words of the law, both the blessings and the curses, according to all that is written in the book of the Law. There was no word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read before From the whole congregation of Israel, including women, children and foreigners resident among them. " This verse highlights the importance of reading God's law and sharing it with the whole congregation, including women, children and foreigners.

John 14:15: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." This verse emphasizes the importance of loving God and obeying His commandments, which are found in the law.
