Jeremiah 27 talks about how God instructed Jeremiah to make a wooden yoke and send it to all the neighboring kings of Judah, symbolizing the subjection of Judah to Babylon. " This verse predicts the punishment that God will inflict to Babylon after they conclude His task of punishing Judah, showing that God is in control of the situation.
2 Chronicles 36:17: "God handed them all into the hands of the Chaldeans."
