1 Chronicles 19 tells the history of war between David and the Ammonites. Psalm 23:4 - "Although I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I won't fear any harm, because you are with me: Your stick and your staff comfort me." This verse shows that David trusted God even when he faced danger, and that God guided and protected him.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 - "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not militate according to the flesh, because the weapons of our militia are not carnal, but powerful in God, to destroy the fortresses." This verse shows that David trusted God and his spiritual weapons to fight the ammonites, not in his own skills or physical strength.
