Isaiah 14 begins with the prophecy of the fall of the king of Babylon, who had oppressed the people of Israel. Psalm 137:8-9: "O daughter of Babylon, devastating; Happy the one who returned you what you did to us! Happy the one who catches your little children and crushing them against the rock!" This psalm expresses the bitterness of the people of Israel in relation to Babylon, who had destroyed the temple and brought the people into exile.
Jeremiah 50:34: "However, his redeemer is strong, the Lord of hosts is his name.
