Matthieu, 28

1. Après le sabbat, àl'aube du premier jour de la semaine, Marie la Magdaléenne et l'autre Marie allèrentvoir le tombeau.

1. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

2. Et voilà qu'il se fit ungrand tremblement de terre, car un ange du Seigneur, étant descendu du ciel, s'approcha,roula la pierre, et s'assit dessus.

2. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it.

3. Son aspect était (brillant)comme l'éclair, et son vêtement blanc comme la neige.

3. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow.

4. Dans l'effroi qu'ils en eurent,les gardes tremblèrent et devinrent comme morts.

4. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men.

5. Et prenant la parole, l'ange ditaux femmes : " Vous, ne craignez pas; car je sais que vous cherchez Jésus lecrucifié.

5. Then the angel said to the women in reply, "Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified.

6. Il n'est point ici, car il estressuscité comme il l'avait dit. Venez et voyez la place où il était;

6. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

7. et hâtez-vous d'aller direà ses disciples :Il est ressuscité des morts, et voici qu'il vous précèdeen Galilée; c'est là que vous le verrez. Je vous ai dit."

7. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.' Behold, I have told you."

8. Elles sortirent vite du sépulcreavec crainte et grande joie, et elles coururent porter la nouvelle à sesdisciples.

8. Then they went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce this to his disciples.

9. Et voilà que Jésusse présenta devant elles et leur dit : " Salut ! " Elles s'approchèrent, saisirentses pieds et se prosternèrent devant lui. 10 Alors Jésus leur dit :" Ne craignez point; allez annoncer à mes frères qu'ils ont à partir pour la Galilée: c'est là qu'ils me verront. "

9. And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage.

10. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me."

11. Pendant qu'elles étaienten chemin, voilà que quelques-uns des gardes virent dans la ville et annoncèrentaux grands prêtres tout ce qui était arrivé.

11. While they were going, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had happened.

12. Après s'être assemblésavec les anciens et avoir pris une délibération, ils donnèrent une grosse sommed'argent aux soldats,

12. They assembled with the elders and took counsel; then they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,

13. en leur disant : Dites : Sesdisciples sont venus de nuit et l'ont dérobé pendant que nous dormions. ?

14. Que si cela arrive aux oreillesdu gouverneur, nous l'apaiserons et nous ferons que vous n'ayez pas d'ennuis. "

15. Eux prirent l'argent et firentselon la leçon reçue. Et ce bruit s'est répandu parmi les Juifs jusqu'aujourd'hui.

16. Les onze disciples s'en allèrenten Galilée, sur la montagne que Jésus leur avait désignée.

17. En le voyant, ils se prosternèrent;mais il y en eut qui doutèrent.

18. Et Jésus s'approchantleur parla ainsi : " Toutes puissance m'a été donnée dans le ciel et sur la terre.

18. Then Jesus approached and said to them, "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

19. Allez donc, enseignez toutesles nations, les baptisant au nom du Père, du Fil et du Saint-Esprit, 20 leur apprenant à observertout ce que je vous ai commandé. Et moi, je suis avec vous toujours jusqu'àla fin du monde. "$

19. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit,

20. teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."
