Psalm 60 is a supplication psalm in which the psalmist cries to God to restore his people and help him overcome his battles. He expresses his confidence in God, despite the difficulties he faces. Following are five verses related to the topics addressed in this Psalm:
Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you, do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." This verse presents God's promise to be with his people and help him in times of difficulty, which is a central message from Psalm 60.
Psalm 18:2: "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my liberator; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my high refuge.
