Psalm 40 is an expression of trust in God and gratitude for your help in difficult times. He begins with David talking about how God took him out of a "well of destruction" and placed his feet on a firm rock. " This verse talks about the importance of prayer and gratitude, and how this can bring peace and comfort in difficult times.
