Ephesians 1 deals mainly on the election and predestination of believers in Christ, redemption through their blood and the revelation of the mystery of God's will. Next are five verses from other Bible books that relate to the topics addressed in Ephesians 1.
Romans 8:29-30: "For those who have known, also predestined them to be conforming to the image of his son, that he may be the firstborn among many brothers. And to those who predestined, they also called them; and which he called, they also justified; and those who justified them also glorified. " This verse shows that God has predestined those He called to be compounded in the image of His Son. This is related to the theme of predestination in Ephesians 1.
