2 Chronicles, 14

13. And Asa and the people that [were] with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.

Psalm 33:16-17 - "The king is not saved by the size of his army; the warrior does not escape his great strength. The horse is vain hope of victory; despite its great strength, it is unable to save." This verse emphasizes that victory depends not only on the size or strength of the army, but on God's help.

2 Chronicles 20:12 - "We do not know what to do, but our eyes turn to you." This verse shows Asa's confidence in God and his dependence on divine orientation.

2 Chronicles 20:17 - "They will not need to fight in this battle. Take their positions; remain firm and see the deliverance that the Lord will give them, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. They go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you '". This verse shows how God guaranteed the victory for Asa and his army without the need to fight in battle.
