Chapter 9 of the book of Tobias tells Tobias's prayer after his return to his father's house safely, accompanied by his wife and the fortune he had recovered. Psalm 86:5: "For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in kindness to all who invoke you." Tobias refers to God's goodness and mercy, asking him to be equally generous with him and his family.
Psalm 18:1-2: "I will love you, O Lord, my fortress. 1 John 5:14: "And this is the confidence we have in him: that if we ask for something according to his will, he hears us." Tobias trusts that his prayers will be heard by God and that He will respond according to His will.
