Ezekiel, 23

37. For they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands, and they have fornicated with their idols. Moreover, they have offered even their children, whom they bore for me, to them to be devoured.

1 Corinthians 10:14: "Therefore, my beloved, I ran away from idolatry." This verse talks about the importance of preventing idolatry and remaining faithful to God. In Ezekiel's chapter 23, the metaphor of the prostitute sisters is used to describe the idolatry of God's people, showing the importance of moving away from it.
