Jeremiah, 2

24. A wild she-donkey, at home in the desert, snuffing the breeze in desire; who can control her when she is on heat? Males need not trouble to look for her, they will find her in her month.

Exodus 20:3: "You will not have other gods before me." This is the first commandment given to Moses by God, which emphasizes the importance of loving and worshiping only to God, not to other gods or idols.

Hosea 2:13: "She did not acknowledge that I was the one who gave her the wheat, the new wine and the oil, and multiply the silver and the gold, which they used for Baal." This verse describes how Israel forgot that God was the source of all his material blessings, giving his prosperity to Baal, a false God.
