Colossians, 4

16. And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the [epistle] from Laodicea.

Chapter 4 of Colossians contains Paul's final instructions on colosses and greetings to various people. Paul urges the Colossians to be wise in dealing with non-Christians, to take advantage of all the opportunities for testimony, and to pray that God will open doors to the preaching of the Gospel. Romans 12:11: "Be not negligent in devotion, be fervent in the Spirit, serve the Lord with joy." This verse highlights the importance of devotion, joy and spiritual fervor, themes that are also emphasized in Colossians 4.

1 Peter 3:15: "Rather, Christ sanifies as Lord in your heart. Always be prepared to respond to anyone who asks you for the reason for the hope in you." This verse highlights the importance of being prepared to testify to faith and sanctify Christ in our hearts, themes that are also emphasized in Colossians 4.
