Acts, 10

22. "He who sent us is Captain Cornelius. He is an upright and God-fearing man, well respected by all the Jewish people. He has been instructed by a holy angel to summon you to his house, so that he may listen to what you have to say."

Acts of the Apostles 10:47-48: "Then Peter said, 'Can anyone refuse the water from baptism to these people who received the Holy Spirit in the same way as us?" And ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days. " This verse shows that Peter recognized the validity of the faith of Cornelius and his family and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ.
