Lamentations, 1

14. "My transgressions were bound into a yoke; by his hand they were fastened together; they were set upon my neck; he caused my strength to fail; the Lord gave me into the hands of those whom I cannot withstand.

Isaiah 64:10: "Your Holy Cities have become deserted; Zion became desert, Jerusalem in sillow." This verse describes the destruction of sacred cities and the desolation of Jerusalem, which is a central theme of lamentations 1.

Psalm 137:1: "Next to the rivers of Babylon, we settle there and cry, when we remember Zion." This verse shows the pain and sadness of the exiles in Babylon, who remember their homeland and cry for the loss of Jerusalem.
