1 Kings, 2

33. So shall their blood come back upon the head of Jo'ab and upon the head of his descendants for ever; but to David, and to his descendants, and to his house, and to his throne, there shall be peace from the LORD for evermore."

Chapter 2 of 1 kings deals with the death of King David and the succession of the throne by Solomon, his son. Proverbs 20:28: "Mercy and truth keep the king, and with mercy sustains his throne." Isaiah 11:3: and will delight in the fear of the Lord; and will not judge according to the view of his eyes, nor do he rebuke according to his ears. This relates to Chapter 2 of 1 Kings, where David instructs Solomon to be wise in his decisions and to rule with justice.

Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This verse talks about the importance of placing God first and seeking His righteousness rather than seeking our own desires. This relates to Chapter 2 of 1 kings, where Solomon is instructed to obey God's commandments and to rule with righteousness.
