19. Then Bethsabee came to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonias: and the king arose to meet her, and bowed to her, and sat down upon his throne: and a throne was set for the king's mother, and she sat on his right hand.

Verses related to 1 Kings, 2:

Chapter 2 of 1 kings deals with the death of King David and the succession of the throne by Solomon, his son. Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This verse talks about the importance of placing God first and seeking His righteousness rather than seeking our own desires. This relates to Chapter 2 of 1 kings, where Solomon is instructed to obey God's commandments and to rule with righteousness.
