Nehemiah chapter 12 tells the dedication of the walls of Jerusalem after its reconstruction. " This verse mentions the importance of musicians and singers in the service of the temple, a function highlighted in Chapter 12 of Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 12:31: "Then I raised the princes of Judah over the wall, and constituted two major praises and thanksgiving companies, the first of which went to the right over the wall to the mourning door."
