2 Chronicles, 28

24. Then Achaz having taken away all the vessels of the house of God, and broken them, shut up the doors of the temple of God, and made himself altars in all the corners of Jerusalem.

" This verse talks about how evil and apostasy have bitter consequences. Ahaz reaped the fruits of his disobedience and lack of fear to the Lord.

Hosea 8:7: "For they have sown winds, and will searches storm; This verse talks about how those who plant seeds of evil will harvest the storm. Ahaz planted seeds of idolatry and alliances with pagan nations, and this resulted in torment to his people.
