1 Chronicles, 2

1. And these are the sons of Israel: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, and Zabulon,

1. ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ Ρουβην Συμεων Λευι Ιουδα Ισσαχαρ Ζαβουλων

2. Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephtali, Gad, and Aser.

2. Δαν Ιωσηφ Βενιαμιν Νεφθαλι Γαδ Ασηρ

3. The sons of Juda: Her, Onan and Sela. These three were born to him of the Chanaanitess the daughter of Sue. And Her the firstborn of Juda, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.

3. υἱοὶ Ιουδα Ηρ Αυναν Σηλων τρεῖς ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς θυγατρὸς Σαυας τῆς Χαναανίτιδος καὶ ἦν Ηρ ὁ πρωτότοκος Ιουδα πονηρὸς ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτόν

4. And Thamar his daughter in law bore him Phares and Zara. So all the sons of Juda were five.

4. καὶ Θαμαρ ἡ νύμφη αὐτοῦ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φαρες καὶ τὸν Ζαρα πάντες υἱοὶ Ιουδα πέντε

5. And the sons of Phares, were Hesron and Hamul.

5. υἱοὶ Φαρες Αρσων καὶ Ιεμουηλ

6. And the sons also of Zare: Zamri, and Ethan, and Eman, and Chalchal, and Dara, five in all.

6. καὶ υἱοὶ Ζαρα Ζαμβρι καὶ Αιθαν καὶ Αιμαν καὶ Χαλχαλ καὶ Δαρα πάντες πέντε

7. And the sons of a Charmi: Achar, who troubled Israel, and sinned by the theft of the anathema.

7. καὶ υἱοὶ Χαρμι Αχαρ ὁ ἐμποδοστάτης Ισραηλ ὃς ἠθέτησεν εἰς τὸ ἀνάθεμα

8. The sons of Ethan: Azarias,

8. καὶ υἱοὶ Αιθαν Αζαρια

9. And the sons of Hesron that were born to him: Jerameel, and Ram, and Calubi.

9. καὶ υἱοὶ Εσερων οἳ ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ ὁ Ιραμεηλ καὶ ὁ Ραμ καὶ ὁ Χαλεβ καὶ Αραμ

10. And Ram beget Aminadab, and Aminadab beget Nahasson, prince of the children of Juda.

10. καὶ Αραμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ Αμιναδαβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναασσων ἄρχοντα τοῦ οἴκου Ιουδα

11. And Nahasson beget Salma, the father of Boot.

11. καὶ Ναασσων ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλμων καὶ Σαλμων ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βοος

12. And Boot beget Obed, and Obed beget Isai.

12. καὶ Βοος ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ωβηδ καὶ Ωβηδ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιεσσαι

13. And Isai beget Eliab his firstborn, the second Abinadab, the third Simmaa,

13. καὶ Ιεσσαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ Ελιαβ Αμιναδαβ ὁ δεύτερος Σαμαα ὁ τρίτος

14. The fourth, Nathanael, the fifth Raddai,

14. Ναθαναηλ ὁ τέταρτος Ραδδαι ὁ πέμπτος

15. The sixth Asom, the seventh David.

15. Ασομ ὁ ἕκτος Δαυιδ ὁ ἕβδομος

16. And their sisters were Sarvia, and Abigail. The sons of Sarvia: Abisai, Joab, and Asael, three.

16. καὶ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν Σαρουια καὶ Αβιγαια καὶ υἱοὶ Σαρουια Αβεσσα καὶ Ιωαβ καὶ Ασαηλ τρεῖς

17. And Abigail bore Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ismahelite.

17. καὶ Αβιγαια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμεσσα καὶ πατὴρ Αμεσσα Ιοθορ ὁ Ισμαηλίτης

18. And Caleb the son of Hesron took a wife named Azuba, of whom he had Jerioth: and her sons were Jaser, and Sobab, and Ardon.

18. καὶ Χαλεβ υἱὸς Εσερων ἐγέννησεν τὴν Γαζουβα γυναῖκα καὶ τὴν Ιεριωθ καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ αὐτῆς Ιωασαρ καὶ Σωβαβ καὶ Ορνα

19. And when Azuba was dead, Caleb took to wife Ephrata: who bore him Hur.

19. καὶ ἀπέθανεν Γαζουβα καὶ ἔλαβεν ἑαυτῷ Χαλεβ τὴν Εφραθ καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ωρ

20. And Hur beget Uri: and Uri beget Bezeleel.

20. καὶ Ωρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ουρι καὶ Ουρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βεσελεηλ

21. And afterwards Hesron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and took her to wife when he was threescore years old: and she bore him Segub.

21. καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσῆλθεν Εσερων πρὸς τὴν θυγατέρα Μαχιρ πατρὸς Γαλααδ καὶ οὗτος ἔλαβεν αὐτήν καὶ αὐτὸς ἑξήκοντα ἦν ἐτῶν καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Σεγουβ

22. And Segub beget Jair, and he had three and twenty cities in the land of Galaad.

22. καὶ Σεγουβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαϊρ καὶ ἦσαν αὐτῷ εἴκοσι τρεῖς πόλεις ἐν τῇ Γαλααδ

23. And he took Gessur, and Aram the towns of Jair, and Canath, and the villages thereof, threescore cities. All these, the sons of Machir father of Galaad.

23. καὶ ἔλαβεν Γεδσουρ καὶ Αραμ τὰς κώμας Ιαϊρ ἐξ αὐτῶν τὴν Καναθ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς ἑξήκοντα πόλεις πᾶσαι αὗται υἱῶν Μαχιρ πατρὸς Γαλααδ

24. And when Hesron was dead, Caleb went in to Ephrata. Hesron also had to wife Abia who bore him Ashur the father of Thecua.

24. καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν Εσερων ἦλθεν Χαλεβ εἰς Εφραθα καὶ ἡ γυνὴ Εσερων Αβια καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ασχωδ πατέρα Θεκωε

25. And the sons of Jerameel the firstborn of Hesron, were Ram his firstborn, and Buna, and Aram, and Asom, and Achia.

25. καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ιερεμεηλ πρωτοτόκου Εσερων ὁ πρωτότοκος Ραμ καὶ Βαανα καὶ Αραν καὶ Ασομ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ

26. And Jerameel married another wife, named Atara, who was the mother of Onam.

26. καὶ ἦν γυνὴ ἑτέρα τῷ Ιερεμεηλ καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῇ Αταρα αὕτη ἐστὶν μήτηρ Οζομ

27. And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerameel, were Moos, Jamin, and Achar.

27. καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ραμ πρωτοτόκου Ιερεμεηλ Μαας καὶ Ιαμιν καὶ Ακορ

28. And Onam had sons Semei, and Jada. And the sons of Semei: Nadab, and Abisur.

28. καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Οζομ Σαμαι καὶ Ιαδαε καὶ υἱοὶ Σαμαι Ναδαβ καὶ Αβισουρ

29. And the name of Abisur's wife was Abihail, who bore him Ahobban, and Molid.

29. καὶ ὄνομα τῆς γυναικὸς Αβισουρ Αβιχαιλ καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Αχαβαρ καὶ τὸν Μωλιδ

30. And the sons of Nadab were Saled, and Apphaim. And Saled died without children.

30. υἱοὶ Ναδαβ Σαλαδ καὶ Αφφαιμ καὶ ἀπέθανεν Σαλαδ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα

31. But the son of Apphaim was Jesi: and Jesi beget Sesan. And Sesan beget Oholai.

31. καὶ υἱοὶ Αφφαιμ Ισεμιηλ καὶ υἱοὶ Ισεμιηλ Σωσαν καὶ υἱοὶ Σωσαν Αχλαι

32. And the sons of Jada the brother of Semei : Jether and Jonathan. And Jether also died without children.

32. καὶ υἱοὶ Ιαδαε Αχισαμαι Ιεθερ Ιωναθαν καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ιεθερ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα

33. But Jonathan beget Phaleth, and Ziza, These were the sons of Jerameel.

33. καὶ υἱοὶ Ιωναθαν Φαλεθ καὶ Οζαζα οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ιερεμεηλ

34. And Sesan had no sons, but daughters and a servant an Egyptian, named Jeraa.

34. καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν τῷ Σωσαν υἱοί ἀλλ’ ἢ θυγατέρες καὶ τῷ Σωσαν παῖς Αἰγύπτιος καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῷ Ιωχηλ

35. And he gave him his daughter to wife: and she bore him Ethei.

35. καὶ ἔδωκεν Σωσαν τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ιωχηλ παιδὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς γυναῖκα καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Εθθι

36. And Ethei begot Nathan, and Nathan beget Zabad.

36. καὶ Εθθι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναθαν καὶ Ναθαν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ζαβεδ

37. And Zabad beget Ophlal, and Ophlal beget Obed.

37. καὶ Ζαβεδ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αφαληλ καὶ Αφαληλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ωβηδ

38. Obed beget Jehu, Jehu beget Azarias.

38. καὶ Ωβηδ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιηου καὶ Ιηου ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαριαν

39. Azarias beget Helles, and Helles begot Elasa.

39. καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Χελλης καὶ Χελλης ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ελεασα

40. Elasa beget Sisamoi, Sisamoi beget Sellum,

40. καὶ Ελεασα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σοσομαι καὶ Σοσομαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλουμ

41. Sellum beget Icamia, and Icamia begot Elisama.

41. καὶ Σαλουμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιεχεμιαν καὶ Ιεχεμιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ελισαμα

42. Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerameel were Mesa his firstborn, who was the father of Siph: and the sons of Maresa father of Hebron.

42. καὶ υἱοὶ Χαλεβ ἀδελφοῦ Ιερεμεηλ Μαρισα ὁ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ οὗτος πατὴρ Ζιφ καὶ υἱοὶ Μαρισα πατρὸς Χεβρων

43. And the sons of Hebron, Core, and Thaphua, and Recem, and Samma.

43. καὶ υἱοὶ Χεβρων Κορε καὶ Θαπους καὶ Ρεκομ καὶ Σεμαα

44. And Samma beget Raham, the father of Jercaam, and Recem beget Sammai.

44. καὶ Σεμαα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ραεμ πατέρα Ιερκααν καὶ Ιερκααν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαμαι

45. The son of Sammai, Maon: and Maon the father of Bethsur.

45. καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μαων καὶ Μαων πατὴρ Βαιθσουρ

46. And Epha the concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Mesa, and Gezez. And Haran beget Gezez.

46. καὶ Γαιφα ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλεβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αρραν καὶ τὸν Μωσα καὶ τὸν Γεζουε καὶ Αρραν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γεζουε

47. And the sons of Jahaddai, Rogom, and Joathan, and Gesan, and Phalet, and Epha, and Saaph.

47. καὶ υἱοὶ Ιαδαι Ραγεμ καὶ Ιωαθαμ καὶ Γηρσωμ καὶ Φαλετ καὶ Γαιφα καὶ Σαγαφ

48. And Maacha the concubine of Caleb bore Saber, and Tharana.

48. καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλεβ Μωχα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαβερ καὶ τὸν Θαρχνα

49. And Saaph the father of Madmena beget Sue the father of Machbena, and the father of Gabaa. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsa.

49. καὶ ἐγέννησεν Σαγαφ πατέρα Μαρμηνα καὶ τὸν Σαου πατέρα Μαχαβηνα καὶ πατέρα Γαιβαα καὶ θυγάτηρ Χαλεβ Ασχα

50. These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur the firstborn of Ephrata, Sobal the father of Cariathiarim.

50. οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Χαλεβ υἱοὶ Ωρ πρωτοτόκου Εφραθα Σωβαλ πατὴρ Καριαθιαριμ

51. Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hariph the father of Bethgader.

51. Σαλωμων πατὴρ Βαιθλαεμ Αριμ πατὴρ Βαιθγεδωρ

52. And Sobal the father of Cariathiarim had sons: he that saw half of the places of rest.

52. καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ τῷ Σωβαλ πατρὶ Καριαθιαριμ Αραα Εσι Αμμανιθ

53. And of the kindred of Cariathiarim, the Jethrites, and Aphuthites, and Semathites, and Maserites. Of them came the Saraites, and Esthaolites.

53. Εμοσφεως πόλις Ιαϊρ Αιθαλιμ καὶ Μιφιθιμ καὶ Ησαμαθιμ καὶ Ημασαραϊμ ἐκ τούτων ἐξήλθοσαν οἱ Σαραθαῖοι καὶ οἱ Εσθαωλαῖοι

54. The sons of Salma, Bethlehem, and Netophathi, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half of the place of rest of Sarai.

54. υἱοὶ Σαλωμων Βαιθλαεμ Νετωφαθι Αταρωθ οἴκου Ιωαβ καὶ ἥμισυ τῆς Μαναθι Ησαρεϊ

55. And the families of the scribes that dwell in Jabes, singing and making melody, and abiding in tents. These are the Cinites, who came of Calor (Chamath) father of the house of Rechab,

55. πατριαὶ γραμματέων κατοικοῦντες Ιαβες Θαργαθιιμ Σαμαθιιμ Σωκαθιιμ οὗτοι οἱ Κιναῖοι οἱ ἐλθόντες ἐκ Μεσημα πατρὸς οἴκου Ρηχαβ
