12. We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you an opportunity to boast of us, so that you may have something to say to those who boast of external appearance rather than of the heart.

2 Corinthians 5:20: "So that we are ambassadors of Christ, as if God prayed for us. This verse talks about our responsibility as Christ ambassadors, to share the message of reconciliation with God with those around us.
