6. but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it; and behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report which I heard.

Verse im Zusammenhang mit 2 Chronicles, 9:

2 Chronicles 9 reports the visit of the Queen of Sabbath to King Solomon, who impressed her with her wisdom and riches. She offered gifts to Solomon, and the chapter describes the greatness of the king and his kingdom.

Proverbs 10:22: "The blessing of the Lord is the one who enriches, and he does not add pain." This verse talks about how true wealth comes from God, and cannot be reached only through material goods, such as the gifts that the Queen of Sabbath offered Solomon.

Ecclesiastes 7:12: "Because wisdom serves as a defense, as money serves as a defense; but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to its possessor." This verse emphasizes the importance of wisdom, which was one of the attributes that impressed the Queen of Sabbath in Solomon.

Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This verse reminds us that we must put God first in our lives, and that He will provide us with all the things we need.

1 Kings 10:23: "Thus King Solomon exceeded all kings of the earth, both in riches and wisdom." This verse reinforces the main theme of 2 chronicles 9, which is the greatness of Solomon as king and his wisdom.

Psalm 72:1-2: "O God, give the King your judgments, and your righteousness to the Son of the King. Judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment." This psalm is a prayer for the welfare of the king, who is responsible for governance with justice and taking care of his people, as Solomon did in his reign.
