1 Samuel, 24

18. And you have declared this day how you have dealt well with me, in that you did not kill me when the LORD put me into your hands.

Chapter 24 of 1 Samuel narrates the story of David forgiving Saul. After fleeing Saul for a while, David had the opportunity to kill him when Saul entered a cave where David and his men were hidden. Colossians 3:13-"SUPPORT ONE OTHERS, FORGIVE TO YOU SEEFLY If anyone has a complaint against another. As the Lord has forgiven you, forgive you too." This verse highlights the importance of forgiveness and mercy among people, as David demonstrated by forgiving Saul.
