Ruth, 4

6. The man with the right of redemption then said, 'I cannot use my right of redemption without jeopardising my own inheritance. Since I cannot use my right of redemption, exercise the right yourself.'

Matthew 1:5-6: "Salmon generated Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz generated obed, whose mother was Ruth, obeded generated Jesse." This verse shows the importance of Ruth's story in the genealogy of Jesus Christ, highlighting the relevance of Ruth's story to the Judeo-Christian tradition.
