St. Luke 10 presents the sending of seventy disciples by Jesus to preach and heal in several cities in the region. In addition, the chapter also contains the parable of the good Samaritan and the visit of Jesus to the house of Martha and Mary. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in São Luke 10:
John 14:12 - "In truth, truth, I say unto you that he who believes in me will also do the works I do and others will do, because I go to the Father." Jesus sends the seventy disciples to preach and heal in his name, and this verse speaks of the continuity of his works through his followers.
