Judith, 15

10. You alone have accomplished all this. You have done great things for Israel and God has blessed your work. May the almighty Lord bless you forever." And all the people said, "Amen!"

Judite 15 narrates Judith's victory over the Assyrian army led by Holofernes. She can behead Holofernes while he slept, causing the enemy army's disorganization and his later defeat by the Israelites led by Ozias. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Judite 15:

Joshua 1:9: "Didn't I order you to be strong and brave? Do not be afraid or beyond, for the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go." This verse encourages Joshua to lead the people of Israel to the Promised Land and may have served as an inspiration to Judite, who led his people to victory against the Assyrians.
