Esther, 16

1. The text of the letter read as follows: "The great King Ahasuerus to the satraps, governors and all our loyal subjects in the one hundred twenty-seven provinces stretching from India to Ethiopia: Greetings!

1 Chronicles 16:35-"And say, Save ourselves, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and deliver us from the nations, that we may praise your holy name and glorize ourselves in your praise." Proverbs 3:6 - "recognizes him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." This can be related to the faithfulness of Mordecai to God, even in the midst of adversity.

Philippians 2:3 - "You do nothing by strife or by boasting, but by humility; each consider the others superior to themselves." This verse talks about humility and the importance of putting others first. It can be related to Mordecai's attitude to put the security of his people above his own interests.

1 Peter 5:6 - "humiliate you, therefore, under the powerful hand of God, that it may be exalted to you;" This verse talks about the importance of humility and submission to God, trusting that He will exalt those who are faithful to Him. This can be related to Mordecai's attitude to trust God's righteousness and wait patiently for his providence.
