Jeremiah, 36

2. 'Take a scroll and on it write all the words I have spoken to you about Israel, Judah and all the nations, from the day I first spoke to you, in the time of Josiah, until today.

Jeremiah 36 narrates the time when the Lord commanded Jeremiah to write all the words He had spoken against Israel and Judah in a roll and read it aloud to the people in the temple. 1 Peter 1:25: "But the word of the Lord remains forever. And this is the word that was evangelized among you." God's words are eternal and remain forever, and must be proclaimed to all.
